🔒 The short version: Your data is yours. We don't sell it, share it, or even look at it. You can export or delete everything anytime.
When you use Churning Hub, we store:
Your email address, so you can log in. Guest mode skips this until you choose to save your data.
Your bonus tracking data: whatever you choose to enter (banks, cards, amounts, dates, notes, screenshots).
Your preferences: theme choice, layout settings, stuff like that.
We don't sell your data. Ever.
We don't share it with advertisers.
We don't read your entries.
We don't send marketing emails.
We use Google Analytics to understand basic things like "how many people used the app today" and "which features are popular." This is anonymous, aggregated data. We can't see your personal information through it.
Everything is stored on Google Firebase, which means it's encrypted, secure, and backed by Google's infrastructure. Only you can access your data through your account.
Export: Download all your data anytime (JSON or CSV) from the app menu.
Delete: Remove your account and all data permanently from the app settings.
It's yours: You own everything you put in. We just store it for you.
A few outside services make the app work. Google Firebase stores your account and entries. Resend sends the optional email alerts, so it sees your email address and the reminder text if you turn alerts on. Frankfurter and Open Exchange Rates supply currency rates; your data is not sent to them. Formspree delivers feedback you submit through the feedback form. None of these are given your bonus entries for any other purpose.
We use cookies for two things: keeping you logged in, and remembering your preferences (like dark mode). That's it. No creepy tracking cookies.
If we ever change this policy significantly, we'll let you know. But honestly, our approach is simple: your data is yours, and we're not interested in doing anything weird with it.
